Greetings to the saints everywhere, the New Year has fastly approached. There has been many tragedies and lost as the year came in roaring. Several nations are in pieces and it is up to us to continue to do our part that Haitians and Chileans feel our love and sympathy but more importantly feel the Love of God through your hands and donations.
History was made over a year ago. But, we must make sure we continue to do our part as Christians. It shouldn't take a calamity to motivate us to action or moved because a country is in need. Our country the home of the free and brave is in need of your actions. There are some cities that have war zones that make those in Afghanistan seem tame. Where our children’s blood is spilled nightly and even those sworn to protect have become targets; with even more paying the ultimate sacrifice. There are mothers and fathers in this land of abundance who night after night can't feed their children. There is still a generation of those who can't read and therefore are limited to what jobs they can take.
What is sadder is the abundance that we sometimes see in the mega churches and in the little churches that have one thing in common. There are just a committed few that will volunteer and for some of those that don't volunteer it is because they feel that they need a title from reverend to prophet or prophetess or they won't volunteer. But yet as I read my bible, it tells me in Matthew that when you have done it onto the least of mine, you have also done unto me. It didn't say reverend if or prophet; if, it simply says, if you have done it onto the least of mine. Now I understand from experience and from what my bible teaches me, that the harvest is plenty but the labors is few... Imagine for a moment if more of us got involved and we are talking about some of your time and not your money. What more we would be able to do and the impact that we can make on our communities. Let's start with your community first and then the next one and so on and so on... I believe just because I am a believer that we can do this, yes we can. Let me thank those soldiers, mighty soldiers in the Lord who are already on the battlefield weary and tired. I believe that your help is on the way. That more and more are going to stand up and volunteer and help make their communities better. See what I learned, is all I need is a mustard seed of faith and that is enough to move mountains. So I am activating my faith to belief. And as the year continues on we will see little, by little the impact in those communities. We will also see the vision that God imparted in me take hold and Faith Hope and Love Ministries doing its part on a greater level making an impact on our communities. We already have churches and sister churches providing to those in need and the homeless food or providing child care so single parents can earn a decent wage. As the members of the Board of Bishops, with thank you for your unyielding service to the Phoenix metropolitan community.
We want to thank you for stopping by and visiting our web site. If you are in the area of any of our churches please stop in and worship with us. We will welcome your presence and the opportunity to fellowship with you. We give the Lord all the glory in all He is doing and the blessings He is pouring out on His saints who love and serve Him. If, I or any of our Pastors can be of service to you, please feel free to contact us. We also extend an invitation for you to be a part of the body of believers by either aligning your ministry under the spiritual covering and leadership of Faith Hope & Love International Ministries, Inc or as stated, come out to one of our churches and give your life to the Lord. There is no better time than right now to make that change. We are asking the saints for their prayers unto the Lord for those known and unknown prayer request and petitions that are requested of us daily to be met. We also ask for the continued known prayer petition for our First Assistant Presiding Bishop Curtis Poole in his healing as he battles dialysis three times a week and his wife our National Mother as she battles health problems.
It is our continued prayers for those who gallantly and bravely have lost their lives in the course of this war; for their families to find the comfort and healing only the Master can give them. It is our further prayer; the Lord continues to bless this great nation and its political leaders.
Your Humble Servants of this great fellowship and church,
